  • This practice is an out-of-network provider and can be used to pay for therapy however it is recommend that you contact your insurance company prior to initial assessment to ensure that superbills are accepted. You can use the app Reimbursify for assistance in submitting out-of-network claims.

  • Speech therapy is eligible for reimbursement with flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), and health reimbursement accounts (HRA).

  • Cash, check, Venmo or Zelle are accepted

  • Payment is due at the time of service.

The assessment typically lasts between 45 to 60 minutes and is conducted with sensitivity and expertise.

    Formal Report: Following the assessment, you will be provided a detailed formal report summarizing the findings. This report outlines your child's strengths, areas of concern, and recommendations for intervention. It serves as a valuable resource for understanding your child's speech needs and guides the development of their treatment plan.

    Treatment Plan: Based on the assessment results, Meg will collaborate with you to develop a personalized treatment plan for your child. This plan outlines specific goals, strategies, and interventions tailored to address your child's speech and communication challenges. Meg prioritizes working closely with you to ensure that the treatment plan is practical, achievable, and aligned with your family's goals. Ultimately, we aim to provide practical and effective support that empowers your child to achieve their full potential in speech and communication.

  • Includes assessment and treatment plan. Informal speech assessments are recommended for those who have undergone a formal speech evaluation at an external institution within the last 6 months and are able to provide documentation to their new therapist

  • Time-based sessions for speech therapy are determined based on your child's individual needs, following the initial speech assessment. The following options are available:

    • 1-hour session: 50 minutes of direct therapy focusing on speech goals.

      10 minutes of parent contact or wrap-up to discuss progress, strategies, and any questions or concerns.

    • 30-minute session: 25 minutes of direct therapy focusing speech goals.

      5 minutes of parent contact or wrap-up to discuss progress, strategies, and any questions or concerns.

    These session structures allow for tailored support that maximizes your child's progress while ensuring regular communication with parents to facilitate consistency and collaboration in their speech therapy journey.

    Therapy can be conducted either in clinic or virtually (in state of California only).

  • For families seeking support and coaching regarding their child's feeding and swallowing skills, Meg offers a comprehensive program designed to address their specific needs. Here's what you can expect:

    1. Initial 90-Minute In-Home Assessment: your child will begin with a thorough assessment conducted in the comfort of your own home. During this session, we will observe your child's feeding behaviors, assess their swallowing abilities, and discuss any concerns or challenges you may be facing.

    2. Personalized Feeding Plan: Together, we will create a personalized feeding plan tailored to your child's developmental skill level and individual needs. This plan will take into account factors such as their ability to chew, swallow, and tolerate various food textures. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that the foods offered are safe and appropriate for your child to consume.

    3. Promoting Healthy Mealtime Routines: Meg will work with you to establish healthy mealtime routines that promote a positive and relaxed atmosphere during meals. Her approach emphasizes avoiding pressure or coercion to eat and instead focuses on making mealtime an enjoyable experience for your child. We will provide guidance on offering a diverse selection of nutritious foods and encouraging your child to explore different tastes and textures.

Building Parental Confidence and Expertise: Through education and support, Meg aims to empower parents to effectively manage mealtime challenges and foster positive feeding interactions with their child.
